Job summary

Qualifications

• Kentucky teacher certification and Rank II/Master's Degree are required.
• Minimum of six years of successful teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of state and national standards.
• Deep knowledge of reading, writing, literacy development, and/or math.
• Ability to design and deliver professional development for administrators and teachers.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate curriculum and benchmark assessment development at district and building levels.
• Provide classroom coaching to support effective instructional practices.
• Assist teachers with formative assessment aligned to maps and pacing guides.
• Analyze data to inform instruction and planning.
• Collaborate with school leadership to implement RTI and district initiatives.
• Model differentiated instruction and lead professional development sessions.
