Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas, invites applications for two Instructional Assistant Professor of Special Education (non-tenure track) positions to begin Fall 2027. The roles require teaching 15 semester credits per semester across face-to-face and online undergraduate and online graduate courses.
Candidates must hold a doctorate in Special Education or be ABD, possess a current Special Education teaching license or eligibility, and have PreK–12 classroom experience.
Formación
- Doctoral degree in Special Education or closely related field; ABD considered but must complete doctorate before start.
- Current Special Education teaching license or eligibility required.
- Pre K–12 classroom teaching experience in special education required.
- Ability to teach in-person undergraduate and online graduate courses.
- Educational Diagnostician Certification encouraged.
Responsabilidades
- Teach 15 semester credits per semester across modalities (face-to-face and online).
- Mentor students and participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
- Provide service and participate in professional activities as assigned.
