Job summary

Spring-Ford Area School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant for Autistic Support at Spring City Elementary School to help deliver remedial work, independent studies, and enrichment activities.

The full-time, 10-month paraprofessional position offers an hourly rate of $20.50 and a schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (185 days/year).

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to support remedial work, independent study, and enrichment.
• Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances required; health record & TB test within limits.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with remedial work, independent studies, and enrichment activities.
• Support instructional goals in Autistic Support at Spring City Elementary School.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized education plans.

Full Time 10-month position available at Spring-Ford's Spring City Elementary School. This position will be in Autistic Support.

• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred but not required.
• Must meet the Paraprofessional Highly Qualified Requirements: All individuals entering the paraprofessional field are required to be Highly Qualified. Individuals are required to hold an Associate's degree or higher, or have earned at least 48 credits post-secondary training or have passed a rigorous local assessment in reading, writing and mathematics.
