Job summary

Job description

We're seeking dedicated individuals able to provide essential support in classroom settings, including functional and behavioral support classrooms for students with multiple disabilities. Assignments are available immediately and will extend through June 2027, with opportunities to work 32.5 to 35 hours per week for school-age assignments or 29 hours for preschool early intervention.

Key Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a paraprofessional, instructional assistant, or relevant school/special education setting
• Fulfillment of one of the following PA paraprofessional criteria:
  • Minimum 48 college credits
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Completion of acceptable Pennsylvania state/local assessment or credential (see instructions for requirements)
• Willingness to complete state certification process within onboarding if not already certified
• Ability to provide two paraprofessional supervisor references
• Reliable commute within 30-35 minutes to Lehigh County assignments
• Commitment to all aspects of personal care and behavioral support, including lifting, toileting, feeding, and de-escalation techniques as needed

• Maintain reliability and punctuality for daily school schedules (start as early as 7:00 AM)
