Job summary

Copperas Cove ISD is seeking a Credit Recovery Aide at Copperas Cove High School to support teachers by preparing materials, supervising students, and assisting with assessments as part of the instructional team.

Under the supervision of the principal and certified teachers, you will help manage classroom activities, track progress, and communicate with families as needed. This nonexempt role follows a 187-day calendar and reports to the principal.

Qualifications

• Must have 48 college credits, an associate's degree, or equivalency per ESSA.
• Ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Experience with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students under the direction of teacher.
• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests.
• Help maintain neat and orderly classroom.
• Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Provide orientation to substitute teachers.
• Supervise students during school day.
• Participate in staff development and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
