Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library/information science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an academic library.
• Experience implementing high-impact teaching practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, teaching, and assessment of the college’s information literacy program across multimodal environments and locations.
• Investigate and infuse new technologies and instructional techniques into instruction (face-to-face and online).
• Collaborate with faculty to identify student information needs and develop curriculum using library resources.
• Develop and maintain instructional materials (research guides, widgets, videos, modules).
• Work with the Digital Services Librarian on online instructional content.
• Support and train library faculty in new instructional techniques.
