Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library/information science (MLS, MSLS, MLIS, etc.).
• Three years of progressively responsible professional library experience in a academic, research, or public library.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of library science applied to academic libraries.
• Proficiency with Library Management Systems and basic Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional research assistance and information services to library users.
• Instruct and assist students in information literacy both in classroom and one-on-one settings.
• Coordinate online learning tools and lead instructional design initiatives to support teaching and learning.
• Develop outreach to Arts, English & Reading, and Humanities disciplines to support curricula and student needs.
• Maintain and develop digital learning objects and be the point of contact for Articulate content development.
