Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library and information science from an ALA-accredited program.
• Experience providing library instruction in an academic library.
• Experience providing reference services to undergraduate students.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and implement instruction services in-person and online, including workshops and class-based instruction.
• Teach research instruction sessions across campus and integrate information literacy into courses.
• Create and maintain online instructional resources and guides for the community.
• Provide reference assistance via consultations and chat services.
• Evaluate and assess instructional services and programs.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop and assess research assignments and projects.
• Provide outreach services and events for the campus community, including orientations for faculty and students.
• Maintain and update library resources and website, troubleshoot, and assist users.
