Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC's WWGS Inventory Management team seeks an Instock Manager to own shrink and inventory-health workstreams across the grocery network, using data to identify root causes and translate insights into action. You will partner with Inventory Management, Category, Operations, Finance, BI and Tech to drive cross-functional initiatives.

You will manage programs from definition to measurement, improve forecasting and shelf-life management, and present findings with clear narratives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
• 4+ years in supply chain, inventory management or project management.
• 3+ years of Excel experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and decisions.
• Experience owning projects across multiple stakeholders.
• Cross-functional collaboration and influence without direct authority.
• Knowledge of statistical inventory control (preferred).
• Experience with Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own shrink and inventory health programs from problem identification through implementation and measurement.
• Deep dive shrink drivers at site, category, and ASIN levels to identify root causes and opportunities.
• Develop project charters with baselines, goals, actions, owners, milestones and impact.
• Partner with Category, Buying and Operations to address expiration, excess inventory, shelf-life, and forecasting.
• Translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Drive cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actions on time.
