Hermès seeks an Institutional Press Coordinator in New York to support the Institutional Press Team across Maison, Equestrian, and Corporate initiatives. You will help execute strategic editorial placements and manage daily media relations with top outlets.

The role requires attention to detail, crisis communications readiness, events support, and budget tracking. Regular in-person work at a company location is expected, with opportunities to contribute to CSR and diversity strategies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of hands-on internship or similar role.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Proven excellence at meeting long and short-term deadlines.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Launchmetrics and Meltwater knowledge a plus.
• Experience in corporate/crisis communications a plus.
• Maison and equestrian media knowledge a plus.
• Regular in-person work at a Company-designated work location is an essential function.

Aufgaben

• Support Sr Manager with all Maison, Equestrian, and Institutional requests.
• Develop and execute strategic editorial placements in top publications and outlets.
• Track press coverage daily and flag issues to senior team and Paris HQ.
• Help create CSR and diversity & inclusion strategies.
• Liaise with editors, manage merchandise loan logistics, assist in press strategies.
• Assist with Maison, Equestrian events, store openings, and Institutional projects.
• Arrange travel, hotel, and experiences for events.
• Develop press strategy for store openings with national/local media focus.
• Coordinate press programs for regional events and openings.
• Monitor coverage and circulate results to Maison and Equestrian press.
• Maintain daily contact with editors and regional contacts.
• Oversee Press Freelancer tasks and support their development.
• Help manage showroom inventory with Showroom Manager.
• Assist Director with budget development, tracking, and invoicing.
