Job summary

Hermès is seeking an Institutional Press Coordinator in New York to support the Institutional Press Team. You will help secure editorial placements for Maison, Equestrian, and Institutional métiers and coordinate with editors and Paris headquarters to enhance brand visibility.

You will track coverage daily, contribute to CSR and diversity initiatives, and oversee event logistics while assisting with budget and invoices. Strong communication and media relations skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar role.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Launchmetrics and Meltwater knowledge a plus.
• Experience in corporate/crisis communications a plus.
• In-person work at a Company-designated work location is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Sr Manager with all Maison, Equestrian, and Institutional requests.
• Administrate the development and execution of editorial placements in top-tier outlets.
• Track press coverage and flag issues to senior team and Paris headquarters.
• Help develop CSR and diversity & inclusion strategy.
• Liaise with editors, manage logistics for loans, and assist in press strategy creation.
• Assist with Maison & Equestrian events and store openings; arrange travel logistics.
• Assist with budget development and invoice processing as needed.
