Job summary

Hermès in New York is seeking a Press Coordinator, Hard Luxury to support the Communications department. You will assist with Watches & Fine Jewelry requests, coordinate editorial placements, and manage relationships with external PR agencies and editors across national and regional publications.

The role includes supporting high-value local shoots, event logistics, and showroom inventory maintenance, with a focus on maintaining strong brand visibility for watches and fine jewelry in the US

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role or department.
• High level of attention to detail with strong deadlines discipline.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and communications tools.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; ability to influence editors.

Responsibilities

• Support Director with all Watches & Fine Jewelry requests and initiatives.
• Develop and execute a strong, dynamic, and strategic product editorial placement in top-tier publications and media.
• Collaborate with the Director to manage external PR agency relationships and track progress.
• Monitor press coverage and circulate to Swiss and Paris HQ as needed.
• Liaise with editors and coordinate logistics for merchandise loans and shoots.
• Assist with press events, scheduling, and regional event logistics.
