Qualifications

  • Six months in a commercial or institutional food service operation or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow written recipes and dietary instructions.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and ability to obtain a Food handler’s permit.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare foods, salads, and desserts; cook or bake per master menu.
  • Clean and prepare foods using knives, slicers, peelers and equipment such as ovens/steamers.
  • Follow written orders including recipes and dietary instructions.
  • Operate dishwasher and floor buffers as required.
  • Remove refuse and maintain kitchen/dining/storage areas.
  • Label, load, deliver food; defrost and clean refrigeration units and other equipment.
  • Prepare and serve meals for students and cadre; manage portions and serving.
  • Maintain records and prepare required reports.
