Southern Wisconsin Foods in Union Grove is recruiting a cook to prepare and cook large quantities for schools, hospitals, and cafeterias. You will assist in preparing, distributing, and storing food according to state requirements and work with nutrition information, techniques, and safety standards.

The role may involve assisting with special diets and guiding coworkers on the Tray Line as needed, while maintaining sanitation and teamwork in a fast-paced institutional kitchen.

Qualifications

• Training or experience in a professional kitchen with sanitation and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings or early evenings and overtime.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and accept manager-directed changes.
