Job summary

UMB Institutional Investment Management in St. Louis seeks a Relationship Manager II to coordinate custom investment solutions for mid-size clients, serving as the liaison between clients and the Portfolio Construction Desk.

You will manage a book of institutional relationships, focus on client satisfaction, onboarding, reporting, and collaboration with other lines of business to meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of applicable experience.
• Preferred knowledge of private equity products and legal structures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of Institutional client relationships aimed at retention and expansion.
• Coordinate and oversee investment strategy discussions with clients and the Portfolio Construction Desk.
• Lead client onboarding, including documentation and authority updates.
• Develop and present investment strategy options and performance discussions.
• Collaborate with Client Service and other LOBs to meet client service needs.
