Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation in Dubuque, IA is seeking a seasoned Business Banking Relationship Manager II to manage strategic client relationships and grow a portfolio of commercial loans, deposits and fee income. You will work with clients with $1M–$20M in annual revenue and collaborate with treasury, trust and other partners.

You will source new business, assess credit quality, structure loans, and present recommendations to underwriters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years’ proven business banking sales experience.
• Strategic sales knowledge for small business owners.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting and loan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Generate, retain, and expand lending, investment and deposit relationships with clients
• Develop and follow up on new client leads through referrals and prospecting
• Manage relationship profitability and credit quality of portfolio
• Negotiate loan proposals and present to underwriters or loan committees
• Serve as the primary link for financial services to Business Banking clients
