Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a senior relationship manager for Institutional Investment Management, focused on retention and expansion of high-value client relationships. You will coordinate with advisory teams, lead client discussions on investment strategy, and ensure timely, accurate reporting and onboarding of new accounts.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to deliver tailored investment solutions based on IPS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background.
• 5+ years of applicable experience in related field.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, the Series 65 within 120 days of employment.
• Knowledge of private equity products and legal structures (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of Institutional client relationships aimed at retention and expansion.
• Coordinate with staff and board members to improve client satisfaction and engagement.
• Oversee onboarding, legal documentation, and authority resolution updates for new clients.
• Drive reporting cycles and regular meetings with clients to ensure service levels.
