Job summary

Minnesota Public Radio is seeking a Development Officer for Institutional Giving to secure and steward grants from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. You will manage a portfolio, develop compelling proposals, and coordinate across teams to align funding with MPR|APM priorities.

The role focuses on proposal development, grant management, and relationship building to ensure sustainable institutional support for MPR|APM programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of institutional fundraising experience.
• Experience crafting grant proposals and reports for foundations, corporations, and government funders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for funder communications.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of local and regional funders.
• Prepare, write, and submit high quality grant proposals and reports.
• Collaborate across departments to monitor grant budgets and compliance.
• Document funder activity and outcomes in CRM and reporting systems.
