Regency at Waterford is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents in accordance with menus and dietary guidelines. The role requires safe food-handling practices, collaboration with dietary staff, and a commitment to sanitation and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience as a cook in an institutional food service setting preferred.
• Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices.
• ServSafe certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises culinary center’s staff in absence of Chef or CDM.
• Handles and stores all food per facility procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Follows standardized recipes and prepares food according to RD-developed menus.
• Cooks meals that are palatable, nutritious, and served at correct temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper sanitation of workspaces and equipment.
• Communicates with supervisor to maximize resident satisfaction.
