Job summary

The Ballmer Institute for Children's Behavioral Health at the University of Oregon is seeking an Institute Support Specialist who will oversee the Ballmer Institute Reception Desk, delivering high-level customer service to faculty, staff, students and visitors.

The role provides administrative coordination, manages timelines, supports institute leaders with scheduling and travel, maintains front desk operations, and assists the Community Advisory Board.

Qualifications

• Two years of general clerical experience, including typing/word processing or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology, or a certificate in Office Occupations/Office Technology with one year of clerical experience
• College courses in Office Occupations/Office Technology may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage time effectively
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with Canvas and website tools
