Job summary

Lighthouse Safety is seeking a dedicated Installer to join our field installation team in Milwaukee, WI. You will be the front-line company representative at client sites, assembling and installing fall protection systems with an eye for form, fit, function and quality.

You may travel up to 75% to install at diverse customer locations, perform component assembly, operate heavy equipment and power tools, and keep accurate timecards and expense records while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and basic layouts.
• Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time and work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assembler and installer of fall protection systems at customer sites.
• Travel to various locations and perform on-site installation tasks.
• Assemble components per engineering drawings and maintain quality.
• Receive, unload and transfer materials; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Operate heavy equipment and power tools; lift 50–80 lbs as needed.
• Maintain timecards and expense reports; ensure safety compliance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Apply Job Type Full-time Description As an Installer, you will be an integral part of our field installation team. This position is the front-line company representative with our clients. Your role is critical to the organization and will prove pivotal in the continued growth of Lighthouse Safety. It requires a dedicated and energetic person who is results oriented and capable of professional and detailed follow through. The Installer will work with other team members to assemble and install various fall protection systems while ensuring proper form, fit, function, and overall product quality. The installer is expected to travel for extended periods of time to assemble the fall protection systems at various customer locations Assist in the assembly of various fall protection systems Perform component assembly according to engineering drawings Receive, unload, and transfer work material to needed areas Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area Operate heavy equipment, power tools and perform heavy lifting tasks Work well with others, especially customers and co-workers Follow all safety rules including site‑specific safety requirements Maintain PPE and use it during working hours Maintain accurate records for timecard and expense reports and submit in timely manner Ensure all company tools and equipment are free from damage and maintained on each job Requirements Must be able to operate pallet jacks, standard warehouse forklifts, and manlifts The reading of drawings and understanding of basic design layouts is required Ability to travel up to 75% of the time is an essential part of the role and required. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines Must be able to push, pull and or lift 50 to 80 lbs. Ability to read and communicate in English Must have basic to average math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fraction and decimal conversion) Must have an aptitude for learning, ability to multi-task and problem solve Highly reliable and organized Must be able to pass drug/alcohol screens and background checks for admittance to certain customer sites Must have a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record Must be able to work in extreme (hot, cold, wet) climates for extended periods of time High School Diploma or equivalent preferred The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully Perform The Essential Functions Of This Job.
