Job summary

Sesco Safety is seeking a lead Installation Technician to head field teams installing fall protection systems across the Midwest and nationally. The role requires working at height, coordinating with Project Management, and ensuring installations meet specifications and safety standards.

You will be technically proficient in adapting steel-based systems, reading plans, and guiding teammates on site. National travel (~50%) is expected with opportunities for career progression and robust training.

Qualifications

• Reliable, responsible and dependable team member.
• Broad experience in general construction and working at height.
• Good communication with coworkers, customers and vendors.
• Experience with safe use of power and hand tools.
• Certification of lift equipment or ability to obtain.
• Able to meet physical demands of lifting, climbing and height work.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred or willing to attain.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Able to travel approximately 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead field team members to install fall protection systems ensuring fit to specifications and regulatory compliance.

• Good communication skills through verbal and written means with co-workers, customers and vendors.
• Experience with the safe use of power and hand tools.
• Certification of lift equipment, either have or ability to obtain
• Ability to meet physical demands of lifting and climbing along with working at height standard requirements
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30 preferred or willingness to attain.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Ability to submit to a drug/background screen
• Ability to travel approximately 50%
