Job summary

Responsibilities

• Install modular wall systems according to project specifications and manuals.

• Maintain documentation including daily reports and field changes.
• Communicate with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and other trades.

Job description

• Install Fortress modular wall systems according to project specifications and installation manuals
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation plans
• Safely use hand and power tools to assemble wall panels, doors, frames, and accessories
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports and field changes
• Communicate with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and other trades
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe worksites in compliance with company and OSHA standards
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and assist with on-site problem-solving
• Load, unload, and inventory materials as needed
• Travel to project locations, including overnight stays when necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of construction, carpentry, or modular installation experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction tools and techniques
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to travel as needed
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work on ladders, and perform physical labor in varying site conditions
