Job summary

Fortress Modular Walls is seeking an Installer for on-site installation of modular wall systems in healthcare environments. You will read shop drawings, assemble panels with hand and power tools, and maintain daily reports while representing Fortress on job sites.

This role requires travel nationwide and lifting 50+ pounds. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in construction or modular installation, and strong reading of technical documents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years construction/carpentry/modular installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to travel as needed.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Install Fortress modular wall systems according to project specifications and installation manuals.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation plans.
• Safely use hand and power tools to assemble wall panels, doors, frames, and accessories.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including daily reports and field changes.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe worksite in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and assist in on-site problem-solving.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and inventorying materials as needed.
• Travel to various project locations, including overnight stays when necessary.
