Job summary

Fortress Modular Walls is seeking an on-site Installer to lead the installation of modular wall systems in healthcare environments. You will read shop drawings, assemble panels, and ensure safety and quality on every project.

Applicants must lift heavy items, travel to sites nationwide, and collaborate with supervisors, carpenters, and other trades. A high school diploma or GED and OSHA awareness are required or can be obtained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of construction, carpentry, or modular installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction tools and techniques.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to travel as needed.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Install Fortress modular wall systems according to project specifications and installation manuals.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation plans.
• Safely use hand and power tools to assemble wall panels, doors, frames, and accessories.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including daily reports and field changes.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe worksite in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and assist in on-site problem-solving.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and inventorying materials as needed.
• Travel to various project locations, including overnight stays when necessary.
