Kempsville Building Materials, a division of Carter Lumber, seeks an Installed Sales Project Supervisor to oversee installations, repairs, and remodeling work performed by installers and subcontractors. Knowledge of building materials, local codes, and safety practices is essential for successful project delivery.

Responsibilities include scheduling, site analysis with subcontractors, plan interpretation for quality installations, and ensuring timely completion per contract.

Qualifications

• Requires project management or on-site experience in building materials/construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and process improvements.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate installed services.
• Analyze job site with subcontractor before starting a job.
• Interpret plans to ensure quality installation.
• Oversee subcontractors to meet schedules and contract terms.
• Provide project status and resolve issues with Installed Sales Manager.
• Estimate material take-offs for projects.
• Ensure materials are ordered and available for timely completion.
• Direct installers/contractors and ensure training per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
