Kempsville Building Materials (a division of Carter Lumber) is seeking an Installed Sales Project Supervisor to oversee installations, repairs and remodeling work performed by Installers, both employees and subcontractors. Knowledge of building materials, local codes and proper installation techniques will drive project success and strong customer service.

• Experience in project management or on-site construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and process improvements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate installed services.
• Analyze job site with subcontractor prior to beginning of a job.
• Interpret plans to ensure quality installation.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure schedules are met and jobs finish on time.
• Provide project status and resolve issues with the Installed Sales Manager.
• Estimate material take-off and ensure materials are ordered and available for timely completion.
• Direct installers/contractors to meet regulatory guidelines and training needs.
• Ensure safety per OSHA regulations and conduct self-inspections.
