Kempsville Building Materials, a division of Carter Lumber, seeks an Installed Sales Project Supervisor to oversee installations, repairs and remodeling work by installers and subcontractors. The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to building codes, and strong leadership to keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, evaluating job sites, managing subcontractors, and ensuring safe practices per OSHA standards.

Competenze

• Previous project management or on-site experience in building materials/construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and process improvements.
• Ability to solve problems using sound judgment in analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong math skills and numerical reasoning.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.

• Schedules and coordinates installed services.
• Analyzes job site with subcontractor prior to beginning of a job.
• Interprets plans to ensure quality installation.
• Oversees subcontractors work to meet schedules and contract requirements.
• Provides project status and resolves issues with the Installed Sales Manager.
• Estimates material take-off for projects.
• Ensures materials are ordered and available for timely completion.
• Direct installers/contractors to meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Ensures safety compliance and conducts self-inspections.
