Job summary

OPC Pest Services is seeking a motivated Installation Technician in Lexington, KY. You will install attic remediation, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection systems and other home service products to protect homes.

The role offers full-time, year-round employment with a company vehicle, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow a career in pest management and home service.

Qualifications

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have at least 1 year general carpentry experience
• Valid driver's license must be maintained through life of employment

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonableaccommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing on ladders and roofs, reaching overhead, and squeezing with both hands
• Install encapsulation in low light conditions
• Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow and ice
• Noise level in work environment is generally loud depending on worksite where assigned, such as in new construction, while vacuuming insulation, etc.
