Job summary

OPC Pest Services is seeking Pest Control Technicians who can start from home and travel to client sites in Lexington, KY. You’ll be responsible for performing pest control services for homes and businesses, building trusted relationships with customers, and managing your route independently with training provided.

You’ll benefit from uncapped commissions, year-round full-time work, and the support of a regional leader with a long-standing presence in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• No experience in pest control necessary.
• Valid driver's license must be maintained through life of employment.
• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pest management services for residential and commercial customers
• Work with a team to install home encapsulation pest management solutions
• Inspect properties and recommend solutions
• Build strong customer relationships based on trust and professionalism
• Manage your route efficiently and independently
• Identify opportunities to better serve your customers
• Maintain service documentation and reports
• Work closely with office staff to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
