OPC Pest Services is seeking a diligent Utility Technician to install attic remediation, crawl space encapsulation, and gutter protection systems, protecting homes from pests and moisture. You will work with a team across varied environments and complete precise service documentation.

Earn from $25/hr with annual earnings between $52,000 and $65,000 plus uncapped commissions. Start from home with a company vehicle and enjoy ongoing training and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have at least 1 year general carpentry experience

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonableaccommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing on ladders and roofs, reaching overhead, and squeezing with both hands
• Install encapsulation in low light conditions
• Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain sleet, hail, snow and ice
• Noise level in work environment is generally loud depending on worksite where assigned, such as in new construction, while vacuuming insulation, etc.
