Job summary

OPC Pest Services is seeking a dedicated Utility Technician to join our team in providing attic remediation, crawl space encapsulation, and other home-improvement pest management services. You will collaborate with a trusted team to protect homes and give homeowners confidence and peace of mind.

This full-time, year-round opportunity offers a starting hourly rate at $25, with experienced technicians earning $52,000 to $65,000 annually plus uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have at least 1 year general carpentry experience.
• Valid driver's license must be maintained through life of employment.

Responsibilities

• Install attic remediation systems, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection systems, and other home service products.
• Help restore and protect homes from pest damage and head off future issues.
• Complete service-related documentation accurately.
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and exterior spaces.
• Safely operate company vehicles, including larger-capacity box trucks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonableaccommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing on ladders and roofs, reaching overhead, and squeezing with both hands
• Install encapsulation in low light conditions
• Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow and ice
• Noise level in work environment is generally loud depending on worksite where assigned, such as in new construction, while vacuuming insulation, etc.
