Job summary

The DAVIS Companies is seeking an Installation Technician in Framingham, MA to outfit box trucks for commercial use. You will perform mechanical or electromechanical work, assemble and install equipment, and wire vehicles with shelving, generators, inverters and accessories.

Role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years in construction or automotive mechanics, the ability to work independently or in a team, and possession of basic tools. Training and PTO may be included as applicable.

Qualifications

Installation Technician - Contract to Hire

A capital equipment manufacturing company is seeking an Installation Technician in the Framingham, MA area with mechanical or electromechanical experience to outfit box trucks for commercial use.

Shift of the Installation Technician:

M-F 8am-5pm

Pay Rate of the Installation Technician:

$21-22/hr DOE

Responsibilities of the Installation Technician:

• Perform basic hand tool mechanical assembly and wire harnessing.
• Assemble and install products to outfit vehicles for commercial use.
• Install equipment in vehicles, including wiring, shelving, generators, inverters, and other accessories.
• Troubleshoot and repair any faulty units.
