Job summary

SourceNow in Orlando is hiring Installation Technicians to support a high-volume fleet vehicle installation project. Technicians will install equipment on commercial vehicles, follow established procedures, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

You will use hand and power tools, work in a fast-paced environment, perform readiness checks, document work with digital systems, and collaborate with the Site Leader to achieve project goals while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in automotive, mechanical, installation or related field.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand/power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Install equipment on fleet vehicles per procedures and specs.
  • Use hand and power tools safely.
  • Complete installations accurately while meeting daily targets.
  • Inspect work and fix issues as needed.
  • Perform basic vehicle readiness checks and report concerns.
  • Handle parts and inventory; keep area organized.
  • Document work with digital tracking tools, including photos and vehicle data.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE requirements.
  • Collaborate with installation team and Site Leader to meet goals.
  • Provide feedback to support process improvements.

Position Overview

We are seeking hands-on Installation Technicians to support a high-volume fleet vehicle installation project. Technicians will install equipment on commercial vehicles, follow established procedures, and ensure each installation meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install equipment on fleet vehicles according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Complete installations accurately while meeting daily productivity targets.
  • Inspect completed work and identify or correct installation issues as needed.
  • Perform basic vehicle readiness checks and report any concerns.
  • Handle parts, kits, and equipment responsibly and assist with inventory organization.
  • Document completed work using digital tracking tools, including photos and vehicle information.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all site safety requirements and properly use required PPE.
  • Work closely with the installation team and Site Leader to maintain workflow and meet project goals.
  • Provide feedback and support process improvements when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, installation, assembly, or a related field.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand/power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step instructions.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience
  • Fleet vehicle installation, upfitting, retrofits, or similar automotive work.
  • Experience in production, assembly, or high-volume environments.
  • Basic electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience using mobile/digital systems for work documentation.
Project Expectations
  • Follow all safety, attendance, and operational requirements.
  • Meet established quality and productivity standards.
  • Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or installation issues promptly.
  • Maintain professionalism and follow direction from site leadership
