DH Pace Company, Inc. in Olathe, Kansas is seeking an Install Department Manager for its Entry Door Division.

You will oversee the install department's daily operations, plan and schedule activities, and coordinate with front-line managers to meet customer commitments and optimize labor costs. The role requires supervising field technicians and office staff, strong communication, organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Capable of managing skilled field technicians/installers and office staff.
• Excellent communication, strong organizational abilities, and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the install department.
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments.
• Evaluate workload and manpower to fulfill commitments cost-effectively.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, under budget, and to customer satisfaction.
• Review monthly financial and operational reports with front-line managers to drive improvements.
• Enhance performance of the field team through regular performance reviews.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing new team members.
• Take on other duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the install department.
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet our daily customer commitments and ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Evaluate workload and manpower to fulfill customer commitments in a cost-effective way.
• Make sure projects are completed on time, under budget, and to our customers’ satisfaction.
• Review monthly financial and operational reports, collaborating with front-line managers to create action plans for improvement.
• Enhance the performance of the field team you manage through regular performance reviews.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing our new team members.
• Take on other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience is preferred; ideally, you’ll have supervisory or managerial experience in a company that services or installs new equipment/products.
• You should be capable of managing and developing skilled field technicians/installers and office staff, all working together to provide exceptional service while minimizing labor costs and maximizing profits.
• Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a good mechanical aptitude are a must!
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
