Bay View Shade & Blind is seeking Installation Experience Specialists in Waukesha, WI for full-time, hands-on work installing high-end window treatments in homes and businesses. You will learn and use hand and power tools, measure and install to a high standard, and interact with customers with professionalism.

No prior window treatment experience is required; we will teach the technical side. You must be dependable, polished, and able to lift up to 80 lbs while safely working from ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install custom window treatments in high-end homes and businesses.

• troubleshot issues and made decisions to keep projects on track.
• Respect the customer's home and belongings; leave each project finished and clean.
• Collaborate with Sales, Design, Production, and Operations to ensure a seamless experience.

At Bay View Shade & Blind, our Installation Experience Specialists work in beautiful homes and businesses, installing high-end, custom window treatments and working directly with our customers. The work is hands-on and requires technical skill, but it also requires professionalism, attention to detail, good communication, and pride in how you represent yourself.

You don't need window treatment experience. We'll teach you the technical side. What we're looking for is someone who is dependable, polished, personable, mechanically curious, and takes pride in doing things right.

What You'll Do

• Install custom window treatments in high-end residential and commercial environments
• Learn and use hand and power tools to complete precise installations
• Measure, level, align, and finish products to a high standard
• Work directly with customers and communicate professionally throughout the installation
• Solve problems and make good decisions when things don't go exactly as planned
• Respect the customer's home, belongings, and space
• Keep your work area clean and leave every project looking finished and professional
• Work with our Sales, Design, Production, and Operations teams to deliver a seamless customer experience

Experience in construction, remodeling, maintenance, installation, cabinetry, or another hands-on field is a plus—but it's not required. We can teach the technical skills. Character, professionalism, work ethic, and a desire to learn are harder to teach.
