Essential Functions
To perform this job successfully, the Global Accounts Project Manager may be expected to perform some, or all of the duties listed:
- Provide daily and/or weekly updates to Management on Projects/Jobs.
- Work with Sales team to design large or complex projects.
- Request subcontractor quotes and issue purchase order requests.
- Request equipment quotes and issue equipment order requests or purchase orders.
- Track equipment orders and source alternates for backordered equipment.
- Work with GAID to provide technical assistance and quality control on installations.
- Establish project scope of work with the Account Managers.
- Conduct project meetings on large or key account installations.
- Maintain external and internal client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Account Managers, Local Branches, and GAID to perform site surveys and assist with sales paperwork (proposals, bid packages, permits, contracts, etc.).
- Provide oral and written presentations to potential customers explaining their equipment and services.
- Prepare formal correspondence in response to customer questions or concerns.
- Respond to or forward all customer correspondence within 24 hours.
- Handle escalated customer calls as needed.
- Monitor and ensure the progress and completion of tasks.
- Complete and submit all required documentation timely.
- Complete other projects to satisfaction as assigned.
Required Competencies
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, instructions in English.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills in English.
Qualifications - External
Education, experience, and eligibility requirements include:
- Associates degree and five years of related experience/training, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of standards/practices and panels used in the security industry.
- Legal ability to work in the US.
- High School Diploma or Vocational Training minimum.
- At least three years of hands-on experience.
- Ability to clear drug screening.
- Manage local project teams and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of Video, Access Control, Intrusion systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet use.
- Knowledge of company policies and basic accounting principles.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift 10-25 pounds and visit client sites.
Work Environment and Other Requirements
Remote work setup, travel 10-25%, valid passport, PMP preferred, and other physical and legal requirements apply.
