Join the HNI Corporation family and become a driving force in shaping exceptional workplace experiences! We're seeking a Field Service Engineer for our HNI Workplace Furnishings team, supporting facilities nationwide. This is a remote position with significant travel requirements.

As a Field Quality Manager, you'll ensure top-tier quality and customer satisfaction for our workplace furnishing solutions. You'll serve as the key technical liaison between the field and manufacturing, resolving quality issues, supporting dealer installations, and providing feedback for product and process improvements. This role promotes continuous improvement through the Quality Management System (QMS) and fosters strong partnerships with dealers and installers.

What You'll Do:
  1. Serve as the technical bridge between the field and manufacturing to resolve quality concerns.
  2. Conduct on-site evaluations, offering insights to enhance product performance.
  3. Partner with the QMS to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
  4. Train and assess dealers to refine installation techniques and best practices.
  5. Manage safety incidents and ensure compliance with standards.
  6. Address escalated concerns to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.
  7. Share actionable field feedback to fuel innovation and refinement.
What You Bring:
  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a technical field role, preferably with leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and data-driven improvement processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and incident management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AI tool experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for on-site support (40-60%).
