Alert 360 is seeking an experienced Install and Service Technician to install and service alarm systems, CCTV, and access control in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role involves wiring, testing, and ensuring compliance with building and fire codes, while delivering reliable customer support.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on experience with intrusion systems, alarm panels from Honeywell/Qolsys/Vista/2GiG, CCTV, and is comfortable reading blueprints and working in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years installing and servicing alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of intrusion systems and alarm panels.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, and fire-related devices.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex field issues.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and local/national codes.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

JOB SUMMARY

The Install and Service Technician installs, services, and programs security burglar alarms, fire alarms, surveillance video, and other products as required. This may include the repair of equipment and wiring of systems and ensuring all work is in accordance with company procedures and relevant building and fire codes

JOB SPECIFICS

The Technician position is a regular full-time (40+ hours a week) non-exempt position. This position will work in the San Francisco Bay Area and candidates must be located in this area. The position reports to the Sacramento, CA Office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs and troubleshoots low voltage panels, wiring, Security Cameras/ CCTV, Access Control and associated devices.
• Provides reliable and high-quality customer support.
• Maintain company vehicle in a clean and organized manner and maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory.
• Adjust units based on room structures and manufacturer's recommendations
• Utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of experience with installing and servicing alarm systems
• Must have strong knowledge of intrustion systems
• Knowledge of a wide range of alarm panels, including: Honeywell, Qolsys, Vista, 2GiG, Alarm.com
• Experienced with CCTV, access control systems and fire systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems and resolve complex field situations
• Read and understand basic blueprints
• Strong understanding of local/national codes
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
