Randazzo Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to manage a two-person installation team and deliver high-quality, safe workmanship. You will supervise installations, mentor junior technicians, and ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.

The role emphasizes strong customer relations, diagnostic skills, and reliable upkeep of tools and vehicle, with on-site work and potential overtime or on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification required.
• HVAC certification or associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years HVAC installation experience (lead experience preferred).
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• ServiceTitan experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Install furnaces, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and related equipment.
• Install ductwork, sheet metal transitions, refrigeration lines, condensate systems, and venting.
• Replace and diagnose electrical and mechanical components.
• Maintain responsibility for company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Procure materials to meet scheduled completion timelines.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with all codes, standards, and company policies.
• Maintain professional appearance and strong customer relations.
• Follow all safety procedures and safe work practices.

Schedule

• Day shift
• Overtime as required
• On-call rotation may be required

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100 lbs occasionally)
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to climb ladders and work on roofs
• Comfortable working in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and confined areas
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
