Job summary

Bill Howe Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking a motivated Plumbing Install Apprentice to join a two-person crew and support the installation of plumbing systems in new construction. You will work under Journeyman Plumbers to gain hands-on skills and move toward Journeyman status through Bill Howe's Blue Collar Academy apprenticeship program.

As part of the team, you will assist with installations, minor repairs, site maintenance, and training, while maintaining safety and quality on residential

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Plumbers and the Lead Technician with the installation of plumbing systems
• Perform minor repairs, dig trenches, and haul debris as directed
• Clean drains and grease traps as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized job site, clearing tools and debris during and after each job
• Participate in on-the-job training and the Blue Collar Academy program (4-year apprenticeship track) to progress toward Journeyman status
• Apply learned skills and meet performance expectations and qualification milestones
• Actively seek and incorporate feedback from peers and supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Under the direction of Journeyman Plumbers, the apprentice will develop hands-on technical skills while assisting with job site tasks, minor repairs, and site maintenance. This role offers a clear path for advancement based on performance and skill development, including participation in Bill Howe's Blue Collar Academy apprenticeship program.
