Job summary

Bill Howe Plumbing, Heating & Air, Restoration & Flood in San Diego is seeking a seasoned Plumbing Sales professional to drive growth by selling to outside prospects and customers. You will develop profitable sales, leverage our marketing program, and make recommendations to resolve clients' needs.

The role requires 5–10 years in plumbing sales for residential/commercial, reading blueprints, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Plumbing Sales experience for residential and commercial required.
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings or blueprints.
• Strong Communication and Social skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve growth and hit daily sales targets through direct selling to outside prospects and customers
• Develop profitable sales, and acquire customers through our established sales and marketing program
• Make recommendations to the customer regarding the different options they have to resolve their wants and needs
• Identify new business opportunities by performing direct sales activities
• Perform required documentation for each installation have the client sign any necessary paperwork and collect payments as directed
• Develop self-generated leads through networking, data mining (from existing client records), and referral generation from previous clients

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairs.
• Operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copier, fax machine or scanner).

Environmental Conditions:

• Climate-controlled Office/Field setting.
