Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) seeks a TK/K instructor to deliver engaging, play-based learning for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students in after-school and enrichment programs. You will foster a safe, nurturing environment supporting social-emotional growth and early learning.

duties include building positive relationships with students and families, coordinating with school staff, and differentiating activities to meet diverse developmental needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, completion of at least 48 college units, or passage of a qualifying Instructional Aide examination.
• Experience working with young children in educational, childcare, enrichment, preschool, TK, kindergarten, or community-based settings.
• Bilingual English/Spanish ability and ability to build positive relationships with diverse families.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, play-based learning experiences for TK/Kindergarten students after school.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment supporting social-emotional growth.
• Build relationships with students, families, and school staff.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse developmental and linguistic needs.
• Maintain attendance, documentation, and required program reports.
