GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF NORTHEAST IOWA, INC. Decorah, IA is seeking a Store Manager to lead the Decorah store team.

You will supervise assistants, sales staff, and operations, ensuring smooth flow from donations to sales, maintaining safety and compliance, and delivering excellent customer service. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on management of inventory, merchandising, and daily store functions.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years military service or related full-time employment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Loyalty to the agency and its mission and policies.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license.
Forklift license if able to obtain.

Responsibilities

Direct supervision of Assistant Managers, Sales Associates, Utility Workers, and Team Leads.
Oversees store operations, merchandising, and customer service.
Ensures safety, security, and loss prevention compliance.
Manages day-to-day operations across multiple facilities if needed.
Recruits, interviews, and hires staff as appropriate.
Works with district leadership to achieve sales and donation goals.
Responsible for reporting and budgeting, plus staff development.
