Job summary

REES ELEMENTARY in Houston, Texas seeks a 2026-2027 Teacher - Special Education (SPED) for the REACH program. You will develop SDI and collaborate with general education staff to support students with disabilities.

The role requires Texas SBEC certification, ESL certification within two years if not already held, and familiarity with IEPs, ARD meetings, and data documentation. Prior autism experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement STRIDE program Critical Components consistently.
• Utilize behavioral intervention strategies.
• Support paraprofessionals in behavior intervention.
• Maintain professional relationships with parents and community.
• Document IEP progress and SHARS billable services.
