Denver Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with students with learning, emotional, or physical disabilities. The role involves adapting lessons, delivering direct instruction, and aligning with district standards to support growth.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s in Education, a Colorado teaching license, and a Master’s degree for Concurrent Enrollment roles. Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
• Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license.
• For ELA-S Only positions, bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and executes individualized lesson plans across subject areas.
• Administers and interprets formal and informal assessments.
• Monitors and reinforces student behavior per district policy.
• Prepares lessons and materials aligned with curriculum guidelines.
• Provides daily living assistance and uses adaptive technology as needed.
• May participate in extra-duty activities such as coaching or tutoring.
