Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license (CDE).
• ELA-S (English Language Acquisition - Spanish) bilingual required.
• Experience with bilingual Spanish-English instruction and IEP processes preferred.
• Experience with young special needs students and diverse communities preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong time management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes individualized lesson plans aligned to district standards.
• Administers and interprets formal and informal IEP assessments.
• Counsels students to support achievement and growth.
• Monitors classroom behavior and reinforces positive conduct per policy.
• Observes and records student performance and prepares reports as required.
• Prepares lessons and adapts materials to meet diverse needs and objectives.
• Grants and grades tests, reporting results using district software.
• Communicates with families and staff to resolve issues.
• Provides daily living support and operates adaptive equipment as trained.
