Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Experience with preschool or early childhood students is preferred.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to create hands-on, engaging learning experiences for young children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for Pre-K 4.
• Implement state early learning standards and required assessments.
• Create a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and hands-on learning.
• Support early literacy, language, math, and motor development.
• Incorporate music, movement, storytelling, art, centers, and group activities.
• Establish routines and age-appropriate behavior expectations.
• Monitor student development and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and assessments.
• Provide differentiated support for varied learning needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents about progress and growth.
• Build positive relationships with families, colleagues, and leadership.
• Collaborate with special education staff and others to meet needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom.
• Submit lesson plans and documentation on time.
• Participate in staff meetings, PD, events, and family engagement.
• Assist with arrival, dismissal, supervision, and other duties.
