Acquire4Hire LLC in Seattle is seeking an enthusiastic pre-K teacher to guide a classroom of young children through a variety of educational activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and field trips. You will teach foundational kindergarten concepts such as literacy and numeracy while fostering social skills in a supportive classroom.

The role emphasizes patience, compassion, energy, and the ability to tailor lessons to diverse abilities.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen years old.
State background check required.
Prior experience with young children.
First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogens training within one month.
TB test completed.
Documentation of MMR vaccine or immunity.
Warm, approachable disposition.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Willing to attend required training, sometimes after hours.
Passion for early childhood development.
Physically able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

Observe and assess children's development; plan early learning experiences.
Design the learning environment and supervise developmentally appropriate activities.
Plan guidance strategies and involve parents in education.
Maintain progress records and prepare periodic reports with directors/parents.
Conduct parent-teacher conferences and document information.
Plan and implement early childhood education experiences with varied materials.
Ensure safety and supervise all classroom activities.
Collaborate with assistants and supervise staff in the classroom.
