The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1-2+ years of lead teaching; NY certification is preferred. You will use data and coaching to help students reach grade-level outcomes in History, while collaborating with a supportive team.

• Plan inquiry-driven, academically rigorous History lessons that spark curiosity and deepen understanding.
• Build a vibrant, inclusive classroom culture that fosters love of learning and community among students and families.
• Internalize and master Zeta’s curriculum to deliver exceptional instruction daily.
• Champion Zeta’s academic goals and work to ensure 90%+ of students achieve on or above grade level in History.
• Utilize data, student work and research-based resources to drive achievement and refine teaching.
• Develop strong, authentic relationships with students and families to support growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage in weekly professional learning and coaching.
